Ad Vicesimum means at the twentieth, that is, at the twentieth milestone, and the map indeed sets the station twenty Roman miles, about thirty kilometres, from Poetovio, the Roman Ptuj. It lay near Veržej in Slovenia, on the road to Arrabone, forty-three miles away. The list of places compiled in Ravenna spells it Vincensimum. On the map the line to Poetovio was never drawn, so the station hangs without its connecting road.
