Ad Birium
Maiorana
Listen to the story
Ad Birium is usually read as Ad Bivium, meaning 'at the fork', the point where a road split in two. The station is identified with Maiorana in Italy, and the Tabula marks it with a small drawing of a pair of towers. It lay five Roman miles from Ad Pactas and ten from Compitum Anagninum, the crossroads near Anagni. The name belongs to late antiquity.
