Road station
Abrostola
? Veletler am Fluss Sakya ?
Abrostola is drawn twice on the map, once here on the road from Pessinus and again beyond Amorium, and this first entry is probably the less wrong of the two. The mapmaker seems to have stitched two lists of stations clumsily together, as happens more than once in Asia Minor. One reading has roads from Pessinus and from Amorium meeting here, since both entries are followed by almost the same mileage; another has the road to Amorium branching off at this point. The geographer Ptolemy lists the place too, and it may have stood at Veletler, where the road crossed the Sangarius.
