Durolevo is Durolevum, a road station in Kent between Rochester and Canterbury, on the road from London to the harbour of Rutupiae, today Richborough. Its exact site is unknown: suggestions range from Teynham and Davington to Newington and Lenham. On the map it lies only seven Roman miles from Rochester, where the Roman register of routes gives thirteen, which fits the ground far better.
