The Bettegerri were a people of Thrace, and the map sets their name in the land east of the lower Hebros, the river known today as the Maritsa, in the region of southern Bulgaria, Greece and European Turkey. Most peoples on the Tabula are written in large red capitals, but this name is written in black, like the stations along the roads.
