Ad Fines
Kuršumlija?
Ad Fines lay probably at Kuršumlija in Serbia, where the hill country of Dardania opens towards the plain of the Morava, on the road from Naissus to Ulpiana. The name means at the boundary, one of several places so called on the map; here it may have marked the edge of Dardania, or the line between the territories of Naissus and Ulpiana. A milestone found at Kuršumlija, now lost, was read as nine miles, probably a misreading of thirty-nine from Naissus. The map sets Ad Fines twenty Roman miles from Vindenis and twenty from Hammeum.
