Zorlanis

Gegend von Keşan?

Zorlanis appears only on this map, in the Ravenna list, which writes Srolanis and Frolanis, and in Guido's list, where it became Prolanis. The Thracian name may mean watery, for several streams from the hills meet here. It lay between Malkara and Aenos, near Keşan, ancient Kissos, perhaps a little to the south of it; one older suggestion puts it in the marshes by Rüs-köi. It was a station on the side road that led from the Via Egnatia to Aenos.
