Between Asseria and Burnum, in the Croatian hinterland of Zadar, the map draws two hooks without names; this is the first, twelve Roman miles beyond Asseria. The second follows without a figure, and then comes Burnum, the legionary fortress on the river Krka. Older research judged the road complete all the same, so the two empty hooks need not stand for lost stations.
