Road station

unnamed / illegible, no. 12

Listen to the story

In Mauretania, in present-day Algeria, a road on the map sets out from a mountain range with no road leading to it, and its first stopping place has no legible name. From here the road runs on to Ad Capsum Iuliani, but even that stretch lacks a distance. The mountains may be the range the Greek geographer Ptolemy calls Buzara, below Sitifis, now Sétif, and the station itself cannot be reconstructed.
