Raphanis was a city in Roman Syria, and its remains are the ruins at Rafniye, east of the castle of Qal'at Barin. On the map a side road branches off here towards Andarado on the coast. Twenty-one Roman miles separate the town from the crossing of the Orontes river, while the figure towards its other neighbour, Iammura, is missing.
