Pyrogeri

The Pyrogeri were a people of the Balkans whose name the Tabula spreads across the land. The Roman writer Pliny also knew them, placing them on the river Hebrus, the modern Maritsa, which flows through ancient Thrace. There he set them beside another tribe, the Cabyleti, so the two peoples were neighbours along the same river valley.
