Psacccani

Psaccani turns up twice on the map: once in the large red capitals normally used for peoples, and here again in plain black letters, most likely the same people named a second time. The name belongs to the lands east of the Sea of Azov, below the Taurus mountains, and probably refers to the tribe Greek sources call the Psessoi. The first printed edition of 1598 already reads it the same way.
