Road station
Bibae
Ain-Batria (Barrington) · bi Derradj (Miller)
Listen to the story
Bibae was a station on the road between Thuburbo Maius and Hadrumetum in Tunisia, probably at Ain Batria. It used to be placed at the ruins of Henchir Harat, but inscriptions there show that those belong to a different town, Segermes. The list of places compiled in Ravenna writes Vivae. The map sets Bibae sixteen Roman miles from Onellana and sixteen from Mediocera.
