Nine Roman miles before Tapostri, the town of Taposiris near Alexandria, the road from Monogami passes an unnamed stop. Here the Ravenna list helps: between Monocaminon, as it calls Monogami, and Tapostri it names a place called Almiris, which may well be the name the map has lost at this point.
