Road station

unnamed / illegible, no. F

The second unnamed stop on the road from Tucca lies forty-six Roman miles, about sixty-eight kilometres, from the colony of Igilgili, today's Jijel, deep in the mountains of Mauretania. At this point the map draws a second step in the road line, and why it does so remains a puzzle. The Ravenna list cannot supply a name for the stop either, since it places Tucca on the coast, whereas the map sets it inland.
