Road station
unnamed / illegible, no. H
Beyond the colony of Igilgili the road through Numidia passes an unnamed stop, twenty-four Roman miles short of Paccianis. Both the Ravenna list and the Roman register of routes go straight from one of these towns to the other. The geographer Ptolemy, however, names a place called Assarath between Igilgili and the mouth of the river Ampsaga, and a modern atlas marks river crossings and a road junction in this stretch, good reasons for a halt.
