Road station

unnamed / illegible, no. P

Beyond Hippo Diarrhytus, today's Bizerte, which the Ravenna list garbles as Ypocre Zareston, the road reaches an unnamed stop twenty Roman miles before Tunisa. Both the Ravenna list and the Roman register of routes know the towns on either side, and both go from one to the other without a place in between. The kink in the road line may stand for a river crossing or for a passage through a valley.
