Road station
unnamed / illegible, no. N
This unnamed stop between Ubaza Castellum and Theveste, today's Tébessa, may be no real station at all. The map splits the road here into two stretches, and the second is strictly unnecessary: it seems to be there only to give room for the long distance figure, fifty-nine Roman miles, which the copyist wrote out in its long form rather than a shorter one. A clearer layout would have kept the branch road leaving the first stretch further away from the second.
