Malevo

Listen to the story

Four little peaks of three points each, drawn in outline without any colour, make up this nameless range, probably the Parnon, now called Malevo, in the east of the Peloponnese. According to the travel writer Pausanias it marked the border between the lands of Sparta, Argos and Tegea. He also names a river that rises here, the Tanaos, which the map leaves out.
