Between Capsa and Tacape, now Gafsa and Gabès in Tunisia, the map draws a range without a name. Older research matched it with a mountain where, according to Ptolemy, the river Triton and the lakes of Triton and Pallas had their source, but the map shows neither river nor lakes here. More likely it is the Mountain of Zeus, the only mountain Ptolemy names in this area.
