Mountain

mountain, no. 37

Listen to the story

A very long mountain symbol stretches here between the Danube road at Bittium, now Surduk in Serbia, and Sirmium, now Sremska Mitrovica, for a time one of the capitals of the late Roman empire. Below it lie the Dalmatian stations of Ad Libros and Ad Novas, far away across the mountains of Bosnia.
