North of this large nameless range near Tipasa in Numidia, two rivers are hinted at, not by drawn lines but only by the names of two road stations, Ubus flumen and Armoniacum flumen. They support its identification with the Thammes of the geographer Ptolemy, where the river Rubricatus rises, probably the Djebel Tagma in Algeria.
