An unnamed stop follows Nesus twenty-four Roman miles further along the coast road to Paraetonium, and no figure at all leads on from it. Which station stood here is open. The Ravenna list misses nothing on this stretch, but the Roman register of routes names a Thabrastra that may have dropped out of the map. The geographer Ptolemy offers further candidates, villages and harbours such as the harbour of Selinus and a sanctuary of Apis.
