On this small unlabelled range in Bithynia a copyist's slip can be seen: a river runs on upwards right across the mountains, perhaps a moment of lost concentration, with serious consequences for the picture of the land. The Hypius, now the Melen, and the Sangarius, now the Sakarya, flow close by.
