Between Nisibis, now Nusaybin, the great frontier fortress against Persia, and Singara in the Sinjar hills, the map draws a small unlabelled range. Below it stands a people called the Trogoditi Persi, the cave-dwelling Persians, and the station Ad Flumen Tigrim, at the river Tigris, near Cizre.
